2. Our Services
Whyte Pyramid Academy provides online educational services including:

- Communication tools between teachers, students, and parents
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Parental Responsibility: Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the platform and ensuring compliance with these Terms.
Acceptable Use: You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to access systems or data without authorisation
- Interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the service

4. Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription Fees: Access to our learning portals requires a paid subscription. Current pricing is £10 per child per month, subject to change with reasonable notice.
Registration Fee: A one-time registration fee of £2 per child may apply for new enrolments.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Failed Payments: If payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on our platform, including but not limited to lessons, materials, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Whyte Pyramid Academy or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal educational purposes only. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content
- Modify or create derivative works
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
6. Student Work and Submissions
Students retain ownership of their original work submitted through our platform. By submitting work, you grant us a licence to use, store, and display the work for educational purposes, including providing feedback and maintaining records.
Parents may request copies of their children’s submitted work and grades at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the previous 12 months
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or death caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or any applicable laws
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in conduct harmful to other users or our platform
- Provide false or misleading information
Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
9. Safeguarding and Child Protection
We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students. Our staff undergo background checks and follow safeguarding procedures in accordance with UK regulations. If you have any concerns about child safety, please contact us immediately.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues informally before pursuing formal legal action.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
